The weather department says the impact of the western disturbance will persist in North and Central India for the next six days. While rain and hailstorms began in various cities of Rajasthan on Friday, Saturday is expected to bring more intensity. Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh may experience rain with strong winds and thunder on Saturday and Sunday.

Rain Possibility in 24 Cities of Madhya Pradesh

There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in 24 cities of Madhya Pradesh. The winds will blow at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour. This weather is expected to continue for the next four days. A rain alert has been issued in 22 districts of the state. Gwalior and surrounding areas experienced strong winds and rain on Friday.

Current Weather in Rajasthan

Rain and hailstorms started in various cities of Rajasthan on Friday. Tonk, Sawai Madhopur, and Dausa experienced intermittent rainfall with strong winds in the morning. In these districts, five deaths occurred in separate incidents of lightning strikes. The weather department predicts similar weather for the next four days.

Punjab-Haryana Weather Forecast

Rain occurred in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh on Friday. A rain alert has been issued for these areas on Saturday.

Chhattisgarh Weather Today

Chhattisgarh is expecting rain from Saturday. The weather department has also issued a yellow alert for the Surguja and Bilaspur regions. Light rain is possible with thunder and lightning from March 2 to March 4. During this period, there will be strong winds as well.

Snowfall in Himachal Pradesh

Heavy rain and snowfall warnings have been issued in Himachal Pradesh. Snowfall has started in high-altitude areas, including Atal Tunnel, Rohtang, Kelang, Jirpa, Daracha, Koksar, and Lahaul Valley, with up to two inches of snow. The announcement has led to the suspension of vehicular movement at the Atal Tunnel. Similar weather is expected to continue in the region for the next seven days.
