बिहार लोक सेवा आयोग (BPSC) भारत के संविधान द्वारा आवेदकों के गुणों के अनुसार भारत के बिहार राज्य में सिविल सेवा नौकरियों के लिए आवेदकों का चयन करने के लिए बनाई गई संस्था है। बिहार लोक सेवा आयोग भारत सरकार अधिनियम 1935 की धारा 261 की उपधारा (1) के अनुसार आयोग के रूप में उड़ीसा और मध्य प्रदेश के लिए अलग होने के बाद 1 अप्रैल 1949 से अस्तित्व में आया। इसकी संवैधानिक स्थिति 26 जनवरी 1950 को भारत के संविधान की घोषणा के साथ स्पष्ट की गई थी। यह भारत के संविधान के अनुच्छेद 315 के तहत एक संवैधानिक निकाय है। बिहार लोक सेवा आयोग ने शुरुआत में रांची में अपने मुख्यालय के साथ बिहार राज्य के लिए अपना कामकाज शुरू किया। राज्य सरकार ने आयोग के मुख्यालय को रांची से पटना स्थानांतरित करने का निर्णय लिया और अंततः 1 मार्च 1951 को इसे पटना स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया।Objective General Knowledge
